Us to Them

These photographs were taken in the Metropolitan Museum. Wooden props, inlaid with stones, interact with Vuillard’s painting of 1895, ‘The Album’. This painting was chosen as it somehow seemed particularly porous. The work uses formal language alone to collapse a gap in time.
