One Remove

A room made in response to The Waves (1931) by Virginia Woolf. Inlaid antique furni¬ture, customised modernist tables and woven Berber carpets follow her multiple threads in sculptural terms, using the carte blanche of fiction. A scene forms which is also a blockade or refusal of the exhibition space.
